I'm the 18-year-old creator and artist behind Zojo Bun Slime, born and built right here in Houston, Texas. My slime journey didn't start as a business plan, it started at age 11, sitting on the floor with my sister, mixing glue and glitter just to see what would happen. What began as a simple, soothing hobby between siblings turned into something much bigger. As someone who's personally navigated the ups and downs of anxiety, I quickly discovered how truly soothing and centering playing with slime can be. 

 

Today, every container of Zojo Bun Slime is still handcrafted by me and the help of my family, with that same original purpose in mind. We have sold thousands of our slimes and our customers range from kids to adults who use our slime as a way to reduce stress and anxiety which is exactly what our mission was from the beginning.

As a young Black woman in business representation matters. Not only as an entrepreneur but also in the slime industry and I want girls who look like me to see themselves reflected in this space. Zojo Bun Slime allows me to express my creativity through slime and my original Zojo Bun characters. If my story shows even one person that they can turn their passion into something meaningful, then Zojo Bun Slime is doing exactly what it was meant to do.
